Recent work,
on the doorsteps of Kent.

Every project below was built where it lives — in a hallway, a kitchen, a drawing room — by master craftsmen working from our fully-equipped mobile workshop. No transport damage. No second visits. No compromise.

Chapter 01

Cabinetry.

Fitted libraries, kitchens and wardrobes — built in situ to the millimetre.

Full-wall oak galley kitchen

Camberwell · 2022

Full-wall oak galley kitchen

A handle-less oak veneer kitchen running the full length of a Victorian rear extension — flush base units, open display shelving, integrated Siemens ovens and a continuous stainless steel worktop with under-mounted sink.

Built in situ around existing terracotta floor tiles and an out-of-square wall. The grain runs continuous across every door — only possible when cabinets are cut to size on the client's premises.

Reclaimed pine dressing wall

Tunbridge Wells · 2025

Reclaimed pine dressing wall

A full-height dressing wall in reclaimed Douglas fir — staggered plank doors over a four-drawer base, paired with an open shoe library set into the adjacent alcove. A modern, sculptural take on fitted storage.

Each plank hand-selected for grain and knot, then cut and hung in the bedroom over a single working week. No two doors alike.

Fitted oak study & library

Tunbridge Wells · 2025

Fitted oak study & library

A compact home study built into a top-floor box room: full-width oak desk with twin pedestals over terrazzo worktop, and floor-to-ceiling adjustable shelving sized to the client's book collection.

Built around an existing sash window and out-of-square ceiling line. Every shelf cut to length on-site, every fixing hidden.

Chapter 02

Renovation.

Larger architectural joinery — staircases, panelling, period interiors.

Full-height panelled study

Crowborough · 2025

Full-height panelled study

A first-floor reception room re-panelled wall-to-wall in a deep slate-grey veneered finish, with concealed full-height storage doors flanking the window reveals and a refinished oak floor.

All cabinetry built on-site to the millimetre — flush, shadow-gapped joinery with no visible handles. The room reads as architecture, not furniture.

Chapter 03

Sculptural Works.

One-off commissions where furniture meets sculpture — found timber, raw edges, considered form.

Cleft oak & burr bench

Private commission · Tunbridge Wells · 2025

Cleft oak & burr bench

A low oak bench in two halves, joined by a cleft section of weathered burr left in its raw, fissured state. Smooth-planed seats meet hand-split timber — a study in the tension between the worked and the found.

Built around a single piece of windfall burr the client had kept in their garden for a decade. Designed and made in their courtyard over four days.

Bookcases, kitchens, wardrobes, restorations — if it's made of timber, we'd be glad to discuss it.
